Beginning Drawing
Have you ever wanted to learn to draw? Perhaps you think your ability is limited to awkward stick figures? Then this class is for you! Join Troy Ganser of TAG Art and discover the potential within. Be warned - this class is only for those who want to improve their abilities. Challenges both in-and-out of class will deal with working with various drawing materials, approaches and subject matter.
Beginning Watercolor Painting
Watercolor can be either relaxing or intimidating. This class will focus on the fun! It will help you develop a basic understanding and appreciation of the medium without anxiety, as well as discover your style with the brush. Exercises and challenges will be given for in-and-out of class projects. Instructor Troy Ganser of TAG Art will be your guide to artistic discovery.
Creative Writing - Poetry
The written word has so many applications from therapy to hobby to sharing one's vision with the world. Troy Ganser of TAG Art will be your guide as we explore the world of poetry. From the novice to the student looking to polish their work, this course promises to be a challenging yet nurturing experience. Students should be prepared to share current works for critique, contribute to class challenges, and bring work to every class for development (including the first meeting!)
Beginning Digital Photography
This course begins with an exploration of the fundamental principles, techniques and application of camera-based image making and a broad overview of the digital photography. Students will develop technical skills operating a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflect) camera using basic settings/controls. In addition to learning how to properly make exposures using JPG and RAW capturing, they will explore basic, but creative lighting, color, texture, composition, and other subject matter to create a portrait that the lensman envisions. In the final lecture the students explore the techniques and application of manipulating and outputting digitized photographic images.
