" I foresee a thriving music program, student recitals, a variety of concerts, and some of the best musicians in the country stopping at Trine as they commute from Chicago to Cleveland or East Lansing to Indianapolis."

Hundreds joined Trine University on the morning of May 2, 2014 to dedicate the new T. Furth Center for Performing Arts and Ryan Concert Hall.  Later that day, the T. Furth Center officially opened with a concert by award winning writer and musician, Lee Greenwood.

The $7.8 million facility blends a dream with history and tradition to create a vibrant cultural identity for northeast Indiana. The T. Furth Center preserves a historical Angola landmark while creating a beautiful, functional space for music and theatrical performances for the community and a learning center with the latest technology for Trine's music and drama students.

This facility houses our music, choir and theater programs, and features practice rooms, studios, offices, and a music library. Seating for 750 guests accompanies the Ryan Concert Hall,  providing for a prominent place for the arts in the lives of residents and students, expanding the cultural resources of our region and creating an environment where artists can thrive.
