In April, 2012, Education One LLC, on behalf of the university′s board of trustees, received and is currently evaluating a charter application from Indiana Cyber, to be located in Schererville, Ind.

Charter applications must meet state guidelines and other specific criteria including stem related curriculum, virtual/seated methods of content delivery, demonstrated success in previously established programs and high levels of student achievement where performance exceeds state averages.

A public hearing in Schererville has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Trine University Schererville Education Center, 746 East U.S. Highway 30, Schererville, Indiana, 46375.
