Kyle is in a three year program called the Finance and Accounting Leadership program. The first year was spent in Dallas, TX at an insulation plant working as a financial analyst. Some of his work included: accountable for tracking and budgeting over $40 million in yearly period cost spending, tracking over $6 million in capital spending, help lead period cost reduction measures of over $2.5 million, and month-end closing responsibilities.
The second year he was based at the World Headquarters in Toledo, Ohio. That rotation was in Composites Financial Planning and Analysis and some of the work during this time included: helped build the 2013 operations plan, updated and created new slides for decks going to the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, worked with the global sales team for DUCS (a Composites product) to build a financial model for their operations plan and presented to their leadership team.
He is currently in his final year of the three year program. Kyle will travel both domestically and internationally to plants around the globe to check and ensure that proper controls are in place to accurately report financials.
