Pre-Physical Therapy Professional Track Requirements

PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY PROFESSIONAL TRACK – 41 HRS.
The Pre-Physical Therapy Professional Track is designed for students preparing to apply to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program that is being developed at Trine University. This track can be associated with any major.

Biological Sciences (excluding botany and zoology): (8)
General Chemistry: (8)
Human Anatomy (BIO 254): (4)
Human Physiology (BIO 354): (4)
College or University Physics I & II: (8)
Any psychology course: (3)
Statistics (MA 253): (3)
Advanced Composition (ENG 453)*: (3)

*This course has been proposed based on an identified need but is not currently offered.

TOTAL IN PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY TRACK: 41 HRS.

Also, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better to stay in the track. They are evaluated in their final year via benchmark interviews that address the following characteristics of a successful physical therapy program applicant: development of personal and professional qualities; physical therapy or graduate school applications; and community service, research, and leadership experiences.
