Athletic Eligibility
Study hard. Play Hard.
This is the motto that Trine athletes abide by. The privilege of playing sports while preparing academically for the rest of your professional career is something that is not taken for granted at Trine.
To be eligible for participating in intercollegiate competition at Trine, you have to meet that rules and policies established by Trine, the NCAA, and the Michigan intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).
As a student athlete you must earn the minimum required total number of credit hours. Required totals are based on the number of semesters of attendance. To be eligible to compete in a given sport for more than one season at Trine, the student-athlete is also required to successfully complete a certain number of credit hours before the next season of competition. 24 credit hours per calendar year is a MUST for athletic eligibility.
