Main Campus application information:
High school students need to take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine University. Our code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. NOTE: the writing section of the ACT and SAT are optional.
Trine University will accept both the new SAT and the old SAT. We will use a concordance table to determine your highest scores on the new SAT to convert it to the old SAT for an appropriate admission decision and merit scholarship. Sending your scores each time you take the SAT can benefit you by allowing Trine to consider you for all available merit scholarships and enrollment opportunities.
Upon graduation from high school, send your official final high school transcript that includes graduation date to admissions. You will also want to submit transcripts for dual credit or other college courses to be reviewed for credit. An applicant for freshman standing who achieves a score of 3, 4, or 5 on the College Entrance Examination Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Examination may be granted credit. All transcripts and AP results can be sent to:
Office of Admission
1 University Ave
Angola, IN 46703
If you need a form to authorize them to release your high school and college transcripts to the Trine admission office, simply download the Transcript Release Form.
All applicants from the United States are accepted on a rolling basis. We'll notify you within two or three weeks after your application, high school records (and college transcripts, if you are a transfer student), and test scores are received.
