2012-2013 Outlook

The Dance team is excited to begin their second season at Trine. With a new name and image, the ladies are ready to prove themselves as a true collegiate team. Renamed High Voltage, the squad will be composed of five returners and four freshmen. As they prepare to perform for home football and basketball games, the team will also be getting ready for their own season, where they plan to compete in at least two competitions. During a home camp in July, Tamara Ammons Jones a current Indiana Pacemate, choreographed three routines for the ladies. One of which they will be performing in their first performance at the Midwest Mix Up on August 19th. The girls are filled with new energy and a passion to dance and are looking forward to supporting Thunder athletics.

Head Coach

Head coach Shea Chambers came to Trine University in the spring of 2012 after three seasons of cheering for the Indiana Pacers of the NBA with over 20 years of dance and cheerleading experience. Prior to professional basketball, Coach Chambers was a Division I cheerleader and captain for Bowling Green State University where she earned a degree in Journalism Broadcasting. She has coached and choreographed nationally recognized teams for more than 10 years. Coach Chambers was also a part of Universal Cheerleaders Association during her collegiate career.
