Thunder Women's Tennis Coaching Staff
Head CoachRyan Gould Ryan Gould will begin his first year as head men's/women's tennis coach in the fall of 2012. He comes to Trine from Fort Wayne Snider High School where he was the girls’ basketball coach for seven years. Prior to coaching at Snider, Gould was the women's tennis coach at Grace College for two seasons as well as the women's assistant basketball coach. Coach Gould graduated from Grace College in Winona Lake with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and also earned a teaching license in Special Education from Indiana State University. Gould's college tennis career included three years at Grace College where he played both singles and doubles. He was a district doubles champion in 1998 and was also a team captain. Coach Gould plans to focus on recruiting quality men's and women's players to Trine who will excel both on the court and in the classroom. He wants to continue the proud traditions in the program that were established by Coach Bill Maddock over the past 14 years which included academic awards, a successful summer camp for area youth, and competitive on-court teams. Gould and his wife Julianne reside in Fort Wayne. |
