David is a motivator with a plan

You can bet that on a warm autumn day you'll find me riding along a country road on my 100th anniversary edition Harley V-Rod. My wife, Lynda, and I also enjoy spending time on the lake with our two sons, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. When I'm not riding or boating, I'm likely in my office working to complete my doctorate dissertation work on the effects of organizational factors on employee motivation in higher education.
After serving more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, I retired in 2000 and went to work in education, serving as the director of distance learning at IPFW, Fort Wayne. I joined Trine University in 2007 and have served as the director of academic technology and eLearning, executive director of the Trine Virtual campus, and most recently associate professor of management and dean of the School of Professional Studies. A lifelong passion for helping adult learners be successful makes my job as the dean the perfect opportunity.
