Coming to work at the university in 1993 was a coming home of sorts, since I had earned two degrees here.
As the director of academic support services, I work with students who have academic challenges. Helping students overcome obstacles to academic success is a gratifying experience.
I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking and gardening. One of my favorite trips was to London, England, with my sister. To prepare a meal with vegetables and fruits from my garden gives me great joy. I challenge all students to try a new fruit or vegetable and to experiment with new learning strategies. Have a delicious journey.
I am also the the University′s ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.
