Nanotechnology aficionado with big passion for the small things.
Ph.D. Iowa State University
As a chemist, really small things fascinate me. But when I say small, I mean REALLY small! My interest is focused on the relatively new field of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is the study and application of materials less than 100 nanometers in size. That is approximately 250 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair! While that′s way too small for your eyes to see, keep your eyes open — nanotechnology just may be the technology of the future!
As a native Hoosier, I am happy to be back home in northeast Indiana. Growing up in nearby Fort Wayne, I spent much of my youth swimming and fishing in the lakes not far from Trine, and most of my family and friends still reside in the Fort Wayne area.
