Tomas Pasqualini of Argentina and Tamim Fattah of Syria, both students at Trine University, try their hand at making jack o’lanterns during the university’s pumpkin-carving contest Wednesday evening, Oct. 26, at Trine. The annual event, held in the Whitney Commons inside the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center, attracted about 30 students as well as entries from faculty and staff.
