Meet and Greet Informational
Session is Tuesday, Dec. 18

ANGOLA, Ind. – Adult learners will have an opportunity to learn about Trine University Schererville’s Master of Science with major in criminal justice program at a session on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Meet and Greet Informational Session will be hosted by the Schererville Education Center.  It will feature information about the accelerated program, which can be completed in 12 months with courses taken online or at the Schererville site, Cline Commons, 746 E. U.S. Hwy. 30, Schererville. The program is designed for professionals in the areas of institutional and community corrections, law enforcement, social work, public administration, emergency management, forensic psychology and related fields in the private and public sectors. The curriculum prepares these professionals for leadership roles in the justice system or private sector.

Students in the program may choose from one of three concentrations in the fields of forensic psychology, public administration or emergency management.

“We are excited about the high level of interest in this program,” said Barbara E. Molargik-Fitch, J.D., Esq., program director. “More than 50 students have already earned their master’s degrees in the program during the past four years. We anticipate that our program will quickly fill to capacity because of the new concentration in forensic psychology that began this fall.”

Interested adult learners are invited to attend the session facilitated by Molargik-Fitch and learn about the ways in which the master’s program can help them prepare to be successful leaders in their organizations and communities. Program cohorts are scheduled to begin Jan. 7 and April 29.

Those with questions are encouraged to contact Molargik-Fitch at 260-483-4949 or molargik-fitchb@trine.edu. Adult learners are asked to RSVP for the informational session by Monday, Dec. 17, by calling 219-440-7180 or by email at Schererville@trine.edu.
