2. How do I add or drop a course?
Main campus students, please stop by the Registrar’s Office for a Drop/Add form. School of Professional Studies (SPS) and Trine Virtual Campus (TVC) campus students, please contact your respective campus. You may add courses and drop courses with 100% refund through the first week of classes. Please click here for the academic calendar.

3. How do I change my major?
Main campus students, please stop by the Registrar’s Office for a Change of Major form. School of Professional Studies (SPS) and Trine Virtual Campus (TVC) campus students, please contact your respective campus.

4. How do I add a minor?

5. How do I change my address?
Current main campus students, please stop by the Registrar’s Office for a Change Address/Name form. Current School of Professional Studies (SPS) and Trine Virtual Campus (TVC) campus students, please contact your respective campus. Alumni please click here to change your address with Alumni and Development. For name changes please provide an updated copy of your driver’s license or social security card for verification.

9. What does it mean if my account is on hold?
An account hold can prevent a student from ordering transcripts, registering for classes, or receiving their diploma. You can view the details of your account hold at myPortal. If you have questions please see the respective department listed on your hold (i.e. Business Office, Student Life, and Library).

10. How do I order a replacement diploma?
To order a replacement diploma please submit a written request to the Registrar's Office with the following information:

  • Printed name, including maiden name
  • Date of birth
  • Approximate graduation date
  • The complete mailing address of where the diploma is to be sent
  • Signature of the person ordering the diploma

There is a $25.00 charge per copy of diploma. Payment can be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Please make check or money order payable to Trine University.

Please note there is a 4-5 week processing time  for diplomas.
