Reiners Hall

Larry and Judy Reiners Residence Hall
A 170-bed apartment-style residence hall

Project Cost - $7.1 million

With a dramatic increase in enrollment, Trine is building a 170-bed apartment-style residence hall, Reiners Residence Hall. A groundbreaking was celebrated during homecoming 2014. The new residence hall, set to open in August 2015, is located on Thunder Drive between Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium and Hershey Hall. Reiners Residence Hall features two-bedroom units with private baths, air conditioning and a common living space and kitchen.

In summer 2014, Trine created Thunder Village to fill a void and house students. Thunder Village is south of Reiners Residence Hall and consists of five-bedroom units.

Reiners Residence Hall is named for alumnus and trustee Larry Reiners, BSCE '65, and his wife, Judy. The Reiners Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is also named in their honor.
