Effective Managers Bring Harmony to Successful Organizations!

The Golf Management major develops competency in the areas of teaching, club fitting, and all aspects of managing a golf facility. Communication skills are specifically targeted.

Students in the Golf Management program take advantage of multiple opportunities to learn and refine their teaching skills and how to communicate effectively to their students through a series of “Lessons-by-Invitation” offered to the Steuben County community. Golfers of all ages and abilities are invited to take lessons from our students at no expense—using the facilities and technology of our Golf Management Teaching Laboratory. The "professionals-in-training” gain valuable experience in communicating their knowledge to help golfers improve their skills.
