Steps to Apply
You can apply to Trine without paying any fees. Simply choose the appropriate online application and follow the easy steps listed below.
High school students need to take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine University. Our code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. NOTE: the writing section of the ACT and SAT are optional.
Download the PDF file of the Transcript Release Form. Give the form to your high school guidance office—registrar’s office if you are a transfer student—to authorize them to release your high school and college transcripts to the Trine admission office.
All applicants from the United States are accepted on a rolling basis. We’ll notify you within two or three weeks after your application, high school records (and college transcripts, if you are a transfer student), and test scores are received.
Complete and mail your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by March 1st to be eligible for every financial aid opportunity. Trine’s school code for FAFSA is 001839. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The best way to decide if Trine University is a good fit for you is to visit campus and experience firsthand our small classes, personal attention, and impressive new facilities.
