2013 Spring Season Preview

After a successful fall season marked by a berth in the MIAA conference tournament and a first-place finish at two Jamborees, the next step for the Thunder is to claim the conference championship. Led by longtime coach Bill San Giacomo and players such as All-MIAA  First Team selection Pat Walcott (five Top 6 MIAA Event finishes), and All-MIAA Second Team selections Graham Bennett and Nolan Eli, the team broke through and made the tournament with a fourth-place finish in the fall.

After having its MIAA season end a few strokes short in the last three seasons, the Thunder look to upend the other three teams in the conference tournament and qualify for the National Championship. The spring schedule looks promising as Trine will host the A.C. Eddy and Gettig Invitationals sandwiched between the three-round MIAA tournament. The team will also travel to Georgia for its spring break trip.
