2012 Season in review
The women’s soccer team started off the season with a win for the first time since 2005 when they defeated Manchester 2-1 in double-overtime at the Olivet Comet Cup Tournament. The ladies earned three ties on the season against the Milwaukee School of Engineering and two with Albion. The team also dropped several very close matches 1-0 including an overtime game to Kalamazoo along with defending conference champion Alma, Hope and Olivet. Freshman goalie Sloan Davis finished the year ranked 22nd in Division III in total saves and 31st in minutes played. Davis put up two big games in goal for the Thunder making 16 saves against Hope and 15 against Adrian.
