Allen Keen, ’03 Management
After graduation, Allen worked at Univertical Corp. in Angola before accepting a position at his alma mater in the Office of Alumni & Development. Today, Allen works as vice president of sales and marketing for Elite Consulting Services, where he also oversees operations of its subsidiary companies. He also plays an active role in Indy Chair Covers, founded by his wife, Jenn.
As a student, he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and the Thunder men′s golf team, and also participated in intramurals. He worked the Office of Alumni & Development′s phone–a–thon for three years, and sat on the committee for the Class of 2003 Senior Class Gift.
"Tri–State provided me a unique opportunity not offered at most schools," Allen said. "The small school atmosphere, combined with the amount of athletic opportunity and Greek life, seemed to keep everyone busy. The opportunities for interaction and friendship in and out of the classroom were instrumental in accelerating my career."
He is grateful for establishing many lifelong friends. "The people attracted to our campus are like–minded individuals who understand that college is more than education — it′s an experience. Angola is a unique setting that ensures interaction among your peers. To this day, I stay in close contact with the dozens of friends established during my years at TSU."
Allen spends his free time with family and friends. His passions include traveling, the stock market, watching sports, and of course, playing golf.
