International Orientation

International Orientation

The Office of International Admissions and the Office of Student Services provide a mandatory orientation program to give new international students essential information regarding their stay at Trine. International Orientation is a great opportunity to:

  • meet the Trine staff and other international and American students
  • learn more about the U.S. education system and Trine's academic standards
  • prepare logistics (get a Trine student ID, open bank account, tour campus, etc.)

As an international student, you are required attend orientation sessions. If you do not, you may be in violation of your visa status. Optional events to aid in your transition to Trine (shopping trips, social gatherings, etc.) are also offered during International Orientation, Spring Orientation, and Welcome Week.

Check-in

You must check-in within 30 days of your program start date. You will need to bring the following documents:

During Check-in you will need to fill out a form. On that form, you will be asked to provide the name, email address and phone number of someone whom we may notify in case of emergency. You will also need to provide the address of where you are staying/living in the U.S.

*Transfer Student Note: It may take several days after you check in to receive your new I-20.
