Student Education Association
offers Parents' Night Out!
Supervised activities offered
for youngsters on Feb. 16
ANGOLA, Ind. – Parents and caregivers in need of an evening out, or those who wish to delay celebrating Valentine’s Day until during the weekend, will want to check out Parents’ Night Out! at Trine University.
The Student Education Association (SEA), comprised of students preparing to be educators, is offering to share time with kindergarten through fifth grade children on Saturday, Feb. 16. Hours are from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and the cost is $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional child.
Trine’s caring and dedicated education students, along with faculty supervision, are excited to spend time with area children. Snacks will be provided and activities include games, crafts, science projects and movies.
To register children or to get more information, please send an email to Amy Alexander, assistant professor in the Franks School of Education. Please type “parents’ night” in the subject line.
Proceeds will be split between SEA, to fund activities, such as professional conferences; and Outreach to Teach, a statewide activity in which SEA members engage in what can best be described as “Extreme Makeover: School Edition.”
