Engineering open house is Feb. 25

 

ANGOLA, Ind. — Trine University’s Allen School of Engineering and Technology will host an open house Friday, Feb. 25, from 2-4 p.m. in honor of National Engineer’s Week, which is this week.

Each engineering department will give lab demonstrations. Civil engineers, led by professor T.J. Murphy, will give a hydraulic flume demonstration in the hydraulics lab.

The department of technology will give demonstrations in rapid prototyping in Fawick Hall room 138 and advanced manufacturing in Fawick Hall 025.

Mechanical engineers will give a foundry demonstration across from Fawick Hall room 149.

Chemical engineers will give a distillation column demonstration in Moore Lab.

The electrical and computer engineering department will give a demonstration using an electric motor in Fawick Hall room 216.

Refreshments will be served in the student lounge on the second floor of Fawick Hall.

The open house is free and open to the public.
