Lazusky promoted to SPS regional director

 

ANGOLA, Ind. – Michael Lazusky was promoted to regional director for the Trine University School of Professional Studies, officials announced today.

In his new role, Lazusky will direct campus operations for the Angola Education Center, the Sturgis, Mich., Education Center and three course locations in Ashley, Auburn and Howe.

Lazusky, who has been involved with the university since 1996, most recently served as the campus director for the School of Professional Studies’ Angola Education Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business education and his master’s in education from Shippensburg University in his native Pennsylvania.

“I am very enthusiastic about being named the regional director,” Lazusky said. “Having the opportunity to bring a campus to Sturgis, Mich., and become part of their community, working with civic leaders and assisting students to achieve their educational goals is very exciting.”

Lazusky plans to continue to provide quality education that will challenge students as well as develop their professional skill sets. 

In addition to teaching business management and human resources development courses, Lazusky has helped develop course curriculum and assisted in ongoing evaluations of course standards and objectives. He also has administrative experience at Trine and Hiram College in Ohio, where he managed operations of a $12.2 million recreation complex, supervised employees and managed a payroll budget.

He will make positive impacts in the lives of many adult learners, who are looking to make positive changes in their lives.”
