Alumnus named Officer of the Year

Kris Ambrose ('05) earns honor

 

ANGOLA, Ind. — Kris Ambrose, a Tri-State (now Trine) University 2005 criminal justice graduate, was selected as Officer of the Year by the Marshall Exchange Club in Marshall, Mich.

After earning his degree, he graduated from the police academy at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.  He then took a job as a reserve police officer with the Coldwater Police Department for years and then served as a patrol officer for Columbia Township in Jackson County, Mich.

Ambrose has been an officer with the Marshall Police Department since June 2008.

He is married to Kate. When he’s not working he enjoys boxing and attending Michigan Sports Camps in Coldwater.
