Trent Duckwall, '11, named representative for PigTek
MILFORD, Ind. — Trine University 2011 graduate Trent Duckwall has been named a technical service representative for the PigTek® Pig Equipment Group, according to Chris Long, sales manager for the CTB Inc. business unit. In his new position, Duckwall will be responsible for providing product training, technical help and support to the company’s customers and distributors in the United States and Canada.
PigTek is a part of CTB Inc., a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of systems and solutions for the production of grain, poultry, pigs and eggs, as well as for various equestrian and industrial applications.
Duckwall, of New Paris, Ind., graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. A native of Van Buren, Ind., he was active in the management of his family’s pig and grain farm.
According to Trine career services director Linda Bateman, the job market is steadily improving. Last year, in spite of economic difficulties, 90 percent of Trine’s graduates were employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation.
“We are working diligently to be a resource for our students and graduates, as well as employers,” Bateman said. “We encourage our graduates to stay in touch with us and share their career achievements.”
