Trine hosting annual
holiday jazz concert

 

ANGOLA, Ind. – Trine University will host its annual holiday community jazz concert Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. in Fabiani Theatre in the University Center on the main campus in Angola.

All are welcome to enjoy a free concert performed by the Trine University jazz bands, jazz choir and percussion ensemble as they entertain with seasonal songs. Beautiful, decorated trees, which will be donated to Project Help of Steuben County, will be on display outside the theatre in the University Center mall area.

At the concert, people can donate shampoo, laundry detergent, toilet paper, PineSol and paper towels to benefit Turning Point Shelter of Steuben County.

Immediately following the concert, Bon Appetit will offer a holiday dinner in Whitney Commons, also in the University Center, until 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10.80 for adults, $5.40 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children ages 5 and under.
