How to apply for readmission

If your enrollment (main campus student) is interrupted for any reason OTHER than dismissal for more than one semester, not including summer, your status will be considered as withdrawn and you must be readmitted.

You then have to submit a Readmission application to the Registrar’s office. The readmit committee will determine the outcome of the request. 

If you're (main campus student) dismissed for academic or other disciplinary reasons, you must submit a Dismissed Student Readmission application along with a statement of explanation to the Registrar. The readmit committee will determine the outcome of the readmit request.

If you're an adult or online student (School of Professional StudiesTrine Virtual Campus or Trine Peoria) student whose enrollment is interrupted for any reason for more than two consecutive eight-week terms, not including summer, your status will be considered as withdrawn and you must be readmitted.

For readmission, you must submit a Readmission application along with a statement of explanation to the Registrar’s. The readmit committee will determine the outcome of the readmit request.


Statement of Explanation

The statement should be 3-4 paragraphs in length and explain why you were/are not meeting academic standards. It should also outline a plan for future success.
