Hola!! My name is Yancy Hansford. I am a senior, pursuing my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Business Management major. I am also working on my MBA, and plan to complete both degrees in May 2020.

I enjoy staying busy with any extracurricular activities on campus, where they all mostly include free food. During my free time, I am usually hanging out with my friends from all over the world, playing soccer, or cooking.

My career goal is to find a job here in the United States in the trading field where I can keep developing my international relations and expand my network.

If you have any questions regarding studying at Trine, please contact me!

Hi there! My name is Shauryya. I am a transfer student at Trine. I like to play video games, watch movies and Netflix. I also like to play golf, basketball, and football (not the American football rugby thing, but the real thing 😄). I would consider myself to be an introvert compared to the rest of the people you will meet, but I love helping people out wherever and whenever they need it.

Country – Nigeria

Major – Chemical Engineering

Languages – Igbo, English

Ndeewo, my name is Chinazam Okoroafor and I am a sophomore from Nigeria studying Chemical Engineering here at Trine! I’m an involved-on-campus student who loves meeting new people and helping make college transitions easy. Before and after my arrival to the US, I challenged myself to try something new, something different, and to get out of my comfort zone, and I am happy to say that the challenge was an awesome idea. By so doing, I have discovered new hobbies, cultures and perspectives, and I have improved my networking skills—something that I’ve learned is very beneficial to everyone.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me!

Country – Nepal

Major – Biomedical Engineering

Languages – Hindi, Nepali, English, Sarcasm

My name is Upasana Shrestha but my friends call me Paso. As an international student, I have gone through (some of ) the same experiences you will go through. Only a year and a half ago, I gazed out the van wondering if I made the right decision.  After overcoming homesickness and initial adjustments, I can't imagine going anywhere else. I want to make your time here just as filled with fun, friendly and insightful as the past few years have been for me.

Trine, like any other school has its own ups and downs, but we truly have the most amazing community. I can help with real answers to your questions about classes, what things you might want consider bringing, things you can do here, how to adjust, and clubs and social activities you can join, etc.!

If you have any questions, contact me.
