MSO anniversary celebration moved to T. Furth Center

The 26th anniversary celebration for Trine University’s Multicultural Student Organization has been moved to Ryan Concert Hall in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

The event, which also celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.

The move was made to accommodate the needs of the Voices of Unity youth choir, which will perform as part of the celebration. Keynote speaker will be Donovan A. Coney, M.A., president and chief executive officer of Fort Wayne Rescue Mission Ministries Inc.

Trine University students, faculty and staff also will participate in the program, as will Angola Mayor Richard Hickman. The event is free and open to the public, and no tickets or reservations are required.
