Applying for Aid

1. Apply for admission.
2. Be accepted into a degree seeking program as an eligible student at one of our eligible locations.
3. Complete the FAFSA by the March 1st deadline at www.fafsa.gov. The FAFSA will cover fall, spring, summer enrollments in that order.
4. Please remember our school code for the FAFSA is 001839.
5. Main campus students should see their packages in the spring.

Trine prepares New Students aid packages in early March. Returning students will have their packages prepared after the fall registration cycle and housing assignments are listed. That process generally begins in April and continues through July.

Make sure that you are registered for full time enrollment and that all of your FAFSA information is accurate. If you have been selected for verification please send in those required documents ASAP.

We encourage all students to sign their award letter so that we can hold their aid packages for them.

Please note that FAFSA needs to be completed annually.
