Who qualifies as a transfer student?
- Students from junior colleges, community colleges and other accredited institutions of higher learning
- Anyone who has taken any classes for college credit beginning the fall semester following their high school graduation

Transfer student admission
The Trine University transfer application is free and there is no essay. Interested students must submit official transcripts from their high school and any previously enrolled college or university for admission consideration.

Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program
The Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program (GTAP) allows eligible students guaranteed admission to Trine University. GTAP aims to provide a transparent, assured pathway for students transitioning to Trine from community colleges and other accredited institutions.

Trine's Core Transfer Library membership
As a member of the Indiana Core Transfer Library, it is easy to find out how classes can transfer to Trine from different institutions across the state. Course credits are contingent upon a student earning adequate grades and could be used to potentially satisfy general, elective or specific degree requirements for associate or bachelor's degrees.
