Clark and Green developed the idea of Gifts Utopia in a KSB course. They took their idea and won first prize at the Innovation Challenge in spring 2014. Taking the initiative a step forward, they received a start-up grant from Elevate Ventures which will allow them to develop their idea including building of the algorithm, hosting of the website, branding the company and developing marketing materials.
Gifts Utopia is a service that provides the best possible gift for the intended recipient, as chosen by the user of the service. This is accomplished through an information-based search engine that is easy to use and produces a unique and enjoyable gift suggestion. The service also provides reminders and gift suggestions for any event in the customer's life.
Clark now serves as the chief executive officer and Green the business relations manager of Gifts Utopia.
