I am originally from Maryland and moved to the Midwest in 2004. I have lived all over Chicago, Northern Illinois and Indiana and am very happy to be in Angola at Trine University!

My love for mathematics goes very far back. I had the opportunity to take many great and challenging mathematics, physics and astronomy courses during my undergraduate time at the University of Maryland and while working on my masters degrees at Roosevelt University and Northern Illinois University. I began teaching mathematics in 2013 and quickly discovered that it was my passion. Along with teaching I have worked in several corporate positions as well, but teaching mathematics and seeing my students succeed is my real passion and joy.

When I am not doing mathematics, I enjoy reading, playing the flute, hiking, retro-video games and taking road trips.
