I’m a self-avowed literature nerd who teaches a wide range of courses at Trine, from Tech Comm to humanities seminars to early British literature to mythology. As a medievalist, one of the primary things I want to show students is how even texts that are centuries old can still be relevant and useful for us to read and work with today. One of the things I love about working with Trine students is how creative they can be when given a chance to pursue open-ended projects.

To prove my nerdiness, I named my dog Grendel after the monster in the medieval epic Beowulf. You can often find us in the Angola dog park.
