Education has been my dream profession since an early age. With a degree in elementary education, I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students at Hamilton Elementary and JE Ober Elementary in Garrett. With the completion of my master's degree in Educational Leadership, I became the literacy and Title I coordinator at Prairie Heights Elementary. Most recently, I served as the principal for 7 years at Prairie Heights Elementary. After 20 years in public education, I am enjoying the transition to higher education.
If I'm not on campus, you can find me floating on the water, reading, or spending time with our family. My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have three children (Gavin, Whittney, and Aleigha) and a daughter-in-law, Kelsey. We live in the country on a small private lake.
