Education has been my dream profession since an early age. With a degree in elementary education, I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students at Hamilton Elementary and JE Ober Elementary in Garrett. With the completion of my master's degree in Educational Leadership, I became the literacy and Title I coordinator at Prairie Heights Elementary. Most recently, I served as the principal for the past 7 years at Prairie Heights Elementary. After 20 years in public education, I am looking forward to the transition to higher education.

If I'm not on campus, you can find me floating on the water, reading, or spending time with our family. My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have three children (Gavin, Whittney, and Aleigha) and a daughter-in-law, Kelsey. We live in the country on a small private lake.
