Professor Liberatore

My mission is to educate students to become creative, industrious engineers and be leaders in rheology and chemical engineering.

Teaching, research, and service are all central to being an engineering professor and involve teams of people. For example, our diverse research team drives new discoveries that are primarily shared through publications.

Engineering education: My classroom and educational research employs active and self-directed learning tools, such as student-created problems that reverse engineering of YouTube videos and interactive textbooks for Material and Energy Balances, Thermodynamics, and Spreadsheets.

Rheology research: Engineering new materials created or altered by flow. Specifically, our group performs rheology measurements on a range of polymer, colloid, and surfactant systems.
