John T. Patton Jr., Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the biomedical engineering department in Trine University’s Allen School of Engineering & Technology. His areas of specialty include drug discovery, tissue engineering and cell adhesion.
In addition to his career in academia, Patton spent 10 years in the petroleum industry and 20 years in the biotech industry.
When he’s not teaching at Trine, Patton enjoys skiing, boating, hiking, camping and traveling. He is married and has three young adult children.
