I joined Trine in 2007, bringing my many years of teaching and consulting expertise in solving engineering design problems through computer modeling and finite element analysis to our design engineering technology department. I have delivered award–winning instruction in undergraduate and corporate training environments, worked alongside engineering, surveying and architectural professionals as an engineering consultant and assisted pioneers in computer aided design education in program development and instructional methods.
I maintain an active membership in the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) where I serve as our local campus representative. I also maintain active memberships in the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE), where I maintain my credential as a Certified Technical Manager.
At Trine I am dedicated to building work–ready engineering career skills in our students, along with skills beyond academics as I seek to engage students in volunteer projects with community organizations.
Outside the classroom, I assist with coaching tennis and guiding young people through the power of outdoor activities. I enjoy golfing and playing tennis with my two sons Blake and Evan, boating, hiking and birdwatching.
