Trine University is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Freedom Academy to provide a pathway for adult learners pursuing careers in nursing.
Through the partnership, those who earn Nurse Aide certification through Freedom Academy will receive expedited admission into Trine University’s pre-nursing pathway.
What nursing degree options are available through this pathway?
Once you are in Trine's pre-nursing pathway and successfully complete College Composition, a math elective and Fundamentals of Human Anatomy & Physiology I as well as score Proficient or higher on the ATI TEAS test, you will be eligible for one of 20 available seats in the university’s Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Upon completion of your ASN, you'll be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). As an RN, it's estimated you'll earn $78,000 per year, twice the estimated salary of a CNA.
While earning your ASN, you can apply to Trine's RN-BSN program. One of the most affordable options of its kind, the program offers a convenient, flexible online format. With a BSN, you'll earn an estimated annual salary of $86,000.
The Master of Science in Nursing program at Trine will prepare you to meet the growing demand for nurse educators and leaders. With an MSN, you'll earn an estimated salary of $100,000.
