Harold Campbell 1949 BSCE, of Somers, New York, and his grandson Connor Putman, a junior from Ridgefield, Connecticut, majoring in management, point to seats bearing their names in the Thunder Ice Arena. Harold had made a gift to the Thunder Ice Arena for the seat naming opportunities.
Harold and Connor's mom, Jackie Putnam, traveled to Trine to spend the weekend of Sept. 29-31 visiting Connor and seeing the campus.
Connor is a member of the Thunder Lacrosse team.
Alumni, employees and friends of Trine University contributed more than $140,000 to Trine University scholarships, renovations and other areas during Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2.
Trine University has received grant funding from Ansys, an engineering simulation and 3D design software company, to expand simulation-based learning across key mechanical and aerospace engineering courses.
Two students in Trine University’s Allen School of Engineering and Computing were inducted into the Order of the Engineer during a ceremony on Dec. 3.
