Jared Kazmierczak, a freshman exercise science major from South Bend, wipes out as
members of the EXS 103 Teaching Sport Skills race on hockey sleds in the Thunder Ice
Arena at Trine University on Thursday, Nov. 2. The class, taught by Cathy Swick, Ph.D.,
associate dean in the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, covers adapted sports
among its topics and students learned from Amy Alt, youth hockey program director
at Trine, about sled hockey, which allows people with physical disabilities to play
hockey.
