Trine University President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., right, welcomed Indiana Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch to the Trine University campus on Thursday, May 31. Crouch is in the midst of a four-day visit to the Steuben County area, and came to Trine to meet with several community leaders, including the mayors of Angola and Kendallville. Crouch was accompanied by state Rep. Dennis Zent, R-Angola, left.
Jeremy Goossens, director of esports at Trine University, earned honorable mention from ECAC Esports, the comprehensive collegiate esports league where Trine competes, for the fall 2025 season.
Trine University’s esports program has two Overwatch teams in the nation’s top ECAC division this spring.
