Members of the community are invited to join a brief 9/11 memorial service beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, on the Trine University campus.
The service will take place by the flags in front of C.W. Sponsel Administration Building. Visitor parking is available in the nearby parking lot.
The program will include the University Choir singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” and the university instrumental ensemble playing “God Bless America,” a moment of silence and some words of reflection from Trine University President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D.

Lou Ann Homan believes everything she has done in her life — teaching, writing, performing — has led to her current role as director of Trine University Theatre.
