Trine University will present its sixth annual STEM Research and Design Symposium from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, on the MTI Center concourse.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature 36 student projects.
Representing multiple academic majors, the projects include departmental freshman and research projects as well as Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU).
The event offers Trine students the opportunity to gain valuable experience presenting their work in a professional setting. Attendees will be able to vote to determine the winner of People’s Choice awards. A panel of judges will select the winners of other top project awards, including best REU and best undergraduate research.
Erich Barlow, adjunct faculty member for TrineOnline and program matter expert for the university’s Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program, is quoted in a new InformationWeek article on data governance.
The Trine University Board of Trustees voted to add three distinguished university alumni to its membership at its January meeting.
A hero on the battlefield and the gridiron, Rocky Bleier said many people supported him on his journey and encouraged those at Trine University’s 21st annual Scholarship Gala to do the same for students.
