Student projects to be on display at Trine’s STEM Symposium
Trine University will present its eighth annual STEM Research and Design Symposium from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, on the concourse of the MTI Center.

Trine University Theatre will present "Arsenic and Old Lace" by Joseph Kesselring on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m.
All shows will take place at Ryan Concert Hall in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 for the public, $5 for students 18 and under and free for Trine students. Tickets are available for purchase online at trine.link/tickets and at the door.
"Arsenic and Old Lace" is set in the 1940s and centers around the homicidal Brewster family. The women in the family believe they are doing the men in their lives a favor as they commit acts of murder. Based on a true story, "Arsenic and Old Lace" is a dark comedy that was made into a movie in 1944.
The cast consists of Chantelle Leavell as Abby Brewster, Sage Scherzer as Martha Brewster, Aidan Smith as Mortimer Brewster, Evyenia Lawley as Elaine Harper, Sean Carpenter as Johnathan Brewster, Muriel Mackie as Dr. Einstein, Benton Knox as Teddy Brewster, Michael Smith as Officer O'Hara, Mykah Garrison as Officer Brophy, Tyker Kriesler as Officer Klein, Macy Bonifield as Lieutenant Rooney, Jo Drudge as Witherspoon, Parker Tillmon as Dr. Reverend Harper and Jason Branch as Gibbs.
LouAnn Homan is the play's director. Assistant director is Jacob McNeal. The play's producer is Timothy Hopp, Ph.D.. Stage manager is Kat Kellogg. Additional crew consists of Allison Miller-Shaver, Jacob Shaver, Joanna Claudy and Seth Pendergass.
