Trine University’s Humanities Institute hosted its annual Book Night on Wednesday,
Oct. 11, at the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Nearly 300 people attended the event,
with 2,000 books and music records being distributed.
Attendees of the event were treated to trivia and prizes from local businesses, including
Caleo, Claudy Creations, Elemento, Golden Green, Jenny Lu’s, Starbucks, the Trine
Bookstore, and Wieland Chase. The Kra-Tib food truck was also at the event and was
very popular amongst attendees. The event also featured a live rehearsal of the upcoming
fall Trine student production “Arsenic and Old Lace”.
The Humanities Institute and the COM253 Event Planning and Promotion class would like
to thank all prize donators, book donation sites, volunteers, and attendees for their
help making the 11th annual Book Night a success.
