Trine’s Short Story Club announces 2024-2025 schedule
Trine University’s Short Story Club, sponsored by the Humanities Institute, has announced its selections for the fall and spring semesters.

Dr. Chris Brown, commissioner of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), talks about his vision for the conference and offers advice for students wanting to work in athletic administration on the newest episode of Trine University’s Center for Sports Studies podcast.
Established in 1888, the MIAA is the oldest collegiate athletic conference in the United States. Trine University has been a member of the MIAA since 2002.
Brown became MIAA commissioner after serving in athletics roles at the University of Kansas, the NCAA national office and the University of Delaware.
In the podcast, he explains how putting student-athletes first has shaped his vision for the conference and shares his views on expanding the MIAA, in addition to offering career advice for students.
