Trine interns relish opportunities at Zimmer Biomet
Trine University biomedical engineering majors completed internships with medical device giant Zimmer Biomet this past summer.

John Liu, Ph.D., assistant professor in Trine University’s Wade Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, has earned certification as a FANUC robotics instructor after a year of training and examinations.
As a result, the university is now a FANUC-certified education training facility. Students in Liu’s courses and anyone partnering with the university will have the opportunity to earn FANUC robotics operator certification by passing the appropriate exams.
